Showground Central railway station is a temporary station in the inner southern Adelaide suburb of Wayville, and is located 4.4km from Adelaide railway station. The station is only used during the Royal Adelaide Show [1] in Early September each year. When the Show is being held, a temporary platform and shelter is used, and services usually depart every 15 minutes from Adelaide and the Showgrounds. [2]These trains run express to/from Adelaide only.
The station is only in place when the show is held. When erected, it is located between Keswick and Goodwood stations.
